Network Si Experience

The NSi Experience is like welcoming an old friend into your home after a long absence.

The history of the current company can be traced back to the start of the PC revolution in the early 80’s in the form of Apricot Computers IBM Compatible PCs. Applied Computer Techniques (ACT) created the Apricot brand and operated a full service and maintenance company to support the exciting PC innovations in the 80’s and 90’s.

In the 90’s, the computer manufacturing business was sold to Mitsubishi Electric and ACT created a systems integration division called ACT Network Si whilst maintaining its PC service division which was duly sold.

In April 1999, the South African network and technology group DATATEC bought Network Si, however in 2001 a management buyout was completed and so the current company was created.

Today’s Network Si has the feel of an old friend and some of our staff did work for ACT, however we are an innovative team with a wealth of experience of understanding our customers business challenges and proposing pertinent technologies to deliver quality business IT solutions.
